It wasn’t probably a big surprise. In the last month of
2009, Google Chrome (4.63% share) became world’s 3rd most popular browser and took over Apple’s Safari (4.46%).
Internet Explorer market share decreased from 63.62% to 62.69%.
Firefox lost some of the share, falling from 24.72% to 24.61%.
Google Chrome increased its market share to 4.63%. Safari went up as well, from 4.36% to 4.46%.
Thanks to the launch of Opera 10.50 pre-alpha, this browser increased it's market share and has now 2.40%.
Opera Mini grew as well and went up to 0.53%.
