The contest is just about over and we can have a look on the People's Choice Awards. Here are the Top 10 voted concepts chosen by 3000 people from the wide internet community. It wasn’t probably a big surprise. In the last month of
2009, Google Chrome (4.63% share) became world’s 3rd most popular browser and took over Apple’s Safari (4.46%).
Internet Explorer market share decreased from 63.62% to 62.69%.
Firefox lost some of the share, falling from 24.72% to 24.61%.
Google Chrome increased its market share to 4.63%. Safari went up as well, from 4.36% to 4.46%.
Thanks to the launch of Opera 10.50 pre-alpha, this browser increased it's market share and has now 2.40%.
Firefox 3.5.7 had 3 bug fixes (where one was a major crasher), while version 3.0.17 has 2 issues fixed (the same as 3.5.7, except for a major crasher).
Recently Mozila released 2 updates for Firefox 3.5 and the older version 3.0. Both
versions include several stability and security improvements. Firefox
3.5.6 received 62 bug fixes and Firefox 3.0.16 – 24. As usual we recommended to use latest stable version of Firefox. You can download it here .
